In January, I had the privilege of attending New Year receptions hosted by various Belgian parties, where they unveiled their programs for the upcoming elections. Little did I know that just a few months later, I would find myself on stage, representing a newly established political party in Flanders, sharing my own political vision. I am immensely grateful for the space Voor U has created for diversity and the trust that Els Ampe and her core team have placed in our success!
This is what I cherish about freedom and democracy: if you work tirelessly to be seen, you will be heard—so much so that you cannot be ignored. A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers whose incredible efforts made yesterday’s congress possible. Your hard work in organizing the event and warmly welcoming everyone who attended did not go unnoticed.
